China Stops Gold Buying, Silver Drops 5 Juniors Ramp up Marketing
Gold and silver had a painful week last week, both losing key support levels. The majority of that fall is thanks to certain developments in China. In this episode of Junior Mining Talks, I kick it off with an overview of why last week most metals closed in the red and what that might mean for the near-term future of precious & base metals.
After my rant, Luc ten Have talked to me about a few junior mining stocks, and why they moved last week.
More specifically, we talked about 5 junior mining companies that went up significantly last week:
1. Golden Shield Resources (CSE: GSRI) + 114%
2. SRQ Resources (TSX-V: SRQ) + 55%
3. Nevada King Gold (TSX-V: NKG) + 37%
4. Abcourt Mines (TSX-V: ABI) + 29%
5. Alaska Energy (TSX-V: AEMC) + 90%
Lastly, we talked about the overall promotion and marketing in the junior mining space. The good, the bad, and the ugly.
