This Privacy Policy discloses what information we gather, how we use it, and how to change or remove it. It should be read in conjunction with our Disclaimer. By submitting personal information to us you (the "User") signify your consent that we may collect, use and disclose such Personally Identifiable Information ("PII") as described in this Privacy Policy and as permitted or required by law.
For each visitor to our website we use cookies to log standard technical information such as Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, page interactions and browser information.
Protection of Information
We use 256-bit SSL encryption to transfer personal identifiable information between our website and server. Our server is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems. Our server and a User's PII are located in the United States. By using the website and by voluntarily providing PII to us, the User is consenting to the transfer of their personal information to our web server located in the United States.
Use of Cookies
We use cookies to compile aggregate data about website traffic. Our Newsletter emails also contain a single, campaign-unique “web beacon pixel” to tell us whether, and how many times, our emails are opened and verify any clicks through to links within the email. We use this information to administer the health of our website and in reporting capacities to our Business Partners (herein referred to as “Business Partners”). Use of Information
Upon subscribing to our Newsletter service we collect PII, including a User's name and email address. We use a User's PII in the following ways:
- To send the User our Daily Email Newsletter (the "Newsletter"); and
- to send the User periodic email alerts when we publish news items originating from our Business Partners on the website.
We do not disclose PII to third parties upon subscribing to our Newsletter. We do not rent or sell our email lists. We will disclose a User's PII to third parties outside of Clear Commodity Network with whom we have a business relationship with when a User shows interest in that Business Partner's company or service so that the Business Partner may directly contact the User. Users may opt out of all our marketing uses of their PII as well as our sharing of their PII with our Business Partners by unsubscribing from our daily Newsletter. A User's opt-out election will stop, on a going-forward basis, all further sharing of their PII. Users can cancel their Newsletter subscription at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of every Newsletter email we send. The User's PII will be removed from our servers within three business days.
California Privacy Rights
This policy applies, in addition to our Privacy Policy, to visitors and users who are residents of the state of California (“consumers” or “you”) in compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”). Our website collects PII as outlined above. Our website may have collected the following categories of PII (as defined in the CCPA) from our consumers in the last twelve months:

- Deidentified or aggregated consumer information;
- Information excluded from the CCPA’s scope such as health or medical information covered by the Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act 1996 and the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act and personal information covered by certain sector-specific privacy laws.
We have obtained the PII in the table above directly when a User submits a form through our website and indirectly from a User (for example, through cookie or other tracking mechanisms). We may use or disclose the PII we collect from a User for the purposes set out in the “Use of Information” section above.

Transfer of Information outside the EEA
We currently transfer personal information to our servers which are located in United States. Because our servers are located in the United States, transfer of all our data outside the EEA is necessary to enable us to operate our website. If a User provides us PII via the website, the User are deemed to have consented to the transfer and storage of their personal data and information outside the EEA. If the User wishes do not have their personal information stored or transferred outside the EEA, the User may withdraw their consent at any time by sending a request to support [at] clearcommodity.net. PII will be removed from our servers within three business days.
Changes to Our Website's Privacy Policy
We may change this Privacy Statement at any time and it is our policy to post any changes we make to our privacy policy on this page.
