Tom Woolrych is a geologist who now works for the a globally operating holding company that identifies, develops and divests attractive resource projects in North America, Europe and Australia, Deutsche Rohstoff AG.
In this conversation Tom explained to Luc ten Have and me how he finds exploration stocks, how he avoids geo scams, how he knows it's time to sell after a company has made a discovery, and much more.
Tom touched upon his experience as a geologist who has now turned into an investment professional, and how geology might be giving him alpha in investing. We also talked about pre-discovery companies and whether those are worth chasing.
We also discussed some individual companies like Lavras, Awalé, Hercules, Ramp, and others, with Tom showing us his geological models on those companies' assets.
