Fund Manager Buys More Uranium, I look at 2 Large Nickel Deposits, and 1 Lithium Exploreco
Simon Tobler, a Swiss fund manager who runs an energy transition-focused fund at Torck Capital talked to me about uranium, nickel, lithium, graphite, and copper.
We discussed the rapid growth of the battery market, particularly in China, and its potential impact on battery metals, as well as the potential effects of the European elections and US tariffs on the demand for electric vehicles and the battery metals market.
Simon also discussed the potential of extracting lithium from seawater, the viability of recycling battery metals, and investment strategies in the mining sector, with a focus on graphite and uranium.
Tobler also gave me an update on Torck's portfolio and what metals they are going heavy on right now.
Lastly, we discussed the importance of patience in investing, the challenges of market uncertainty, and the growing importance of India as a global economic driver.
