First, I did an overview of last week’s commodity prices. There was a notable drop in #gold , #silver , #copper , #palladium , #platinum , #oil . However, some commodities showed interesting gains, such as #potatoes , #cacao , and #wheat .
Luc and I discussed four stocks with significant stories this week:
1. Strategic Energy Resources (+184%): A new #gold deposit discovery near Australian Gold & Copper has led to a massive price surge. Rumors suggest that Middelkoop’s Commodity Discovery Fund is driving this movement.
2. Koryx Copper Inc. (+44%): This #copper stock rose after announcing a $2M financing deal.
3. Midnight Sun Mining: Another #copper stock on the rise, thanks to a recent deal with First Quantum.
4. Targa Exploration Corp. (+44%): A #lithium stock that Luc has been following for a few months now.
