Dave Erfle - Mining Stock M&A Analysis, Take-Unders vs Take-Overs

Dave Erfle, Editor of The Junior Miner Junky joins us to discuss a wide range of M&A activity in the resource sector. A mega deal between BHP and Anglo American was recently announced, with smaller deals like a merger between Treasury Metals and Blackwolf Copper and Gold, McEwan Mining acquiring Timberline Resources, Contango Ore taking over HighGold Mining, and SilverCorp Metals taking over Adventus Mining have all been announced in the last two weeks.

We ask Dave how he invests around M&A. Many of these transactions are being considered take-unders considering how much stock prices have dropped. We discuss the many reasons for any M&A deal and what the acquiring company needs to do to advance post transaction.
