Emerita Resources – Expansion And Development Of The Iberian West Project, Exploration Update At The Nuevo Tintillo Project, And Pending Aznalcóllar Optionality
David Gower, CEO and Chairman of Emerita Resources (TSX.V: EMO – OTC: EMOTF), joins me to provide an update on the exploration and development work being conducted at multiple deposits to advance the polymetallic Iberian West Project (IBW), a new gold discovery at the Nuevo Tintillo Project, and the legal status of acquiring the Aznalcollar development Project, all located in southern Spain.
We start by discussing the ongoing exploration drilling at the IBW Project, which hosts high-grade Zinc-Copper-Lead-Silver-Gold, at 3 main deposits: La Infanta, Romanera, and El Cura. David walks us through how each of these areas is growing, where the focus is with El Cura as potential bigger contributor to the overall project, and how each area plays into the larger development strategy.
Next we moved over to the recent gold discovery at the Nuevo Tintillo Project, where on August 20th the Company announced finding mineralized gossans with high-grade gold assay results being received and interpreted by Emerita to represent underlying massive to semi-massive sulphide mineralization. David believes that further at depth there should be more base metals to compliment the precious metals seen at surface, and they’ll be doing follow-up drilling to test multiple targets.
We wrap up with where things are in the courts in their initiative to be awarded the high-grade polymetallic Aznalcóllar Project, the prior exploration and development work already completed on this prior-producing brownfields site, and that it could be fast-tracked into a development and production scenario, depending on how the legal ruling comes out in 6 months.
If you have any follow up questions for David regarding Emerita Resources, then email those in to me @ Shad@kereport.com.
