We start off also noting the recent divestment by Newmont of its Éléonore operation in Northern Quebec, Canada, to Dhilmar Ltd. for $795 million in cash consideration, and how many development projects have a mere fraction of the market cap in comparison to the fully valued producing assets, but that there are value arbitrage and “patience arbitrage” opportunities for investors with longer investing time horizons.
