NorthIsle Copper & Gold - North Island Project: 2 Discoveries Over The Last Year, Drilling Ongoing, Upcoming Resource Update and Updated PEA
Sam Lee, President and CEO of NorthIsle Copper & Gold (TSX.V:NCX) joins me to provide an update on the recent developments at the North Island Project in northern Vancouver Island, BC. The project currently has a resource base of 2.5bil lbs Cu (indicated) and 4.9mil oz Gold (indicated).
We kick off the discussion by elaborating on the two new copper-gold discoveries, at the West Goodspeed and Northwest Expo area. The focus then shifts to the Northwest Expo area, where an initial resource was released in March of this year, that is more gold dominate. This area alone can transform the economics of the project, presenting new opportunities and strategic directions.
On the corporate strategy front, Sam addresses how the company is managing its resources while expanding the high-grade areas to enhance project economics. The discussion touches upon how NorthIsle is positioning itself to attract major partners to move forward the resource base and drill the large Pemberton Hills target.
