In this interview I welcome Nick Appleyard, President and CEO of TriStar Gold (TSX.V:TSG & OTCQB:TSGZF), alongside Jessica Van Den Akker, the incoming interim President and CEO. Tristar Gold is undergoing a leadership transition as Nick takes a temporary medical leave in Q1 of 2025. Jess, having been on the board for three years and with extensive experience in the Company, has been chosen to lead during this period.
The discussion covers key updates on the Castelo de Sonhos project, which already has a Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) and a 2.5 million oz gold resource (Indicated + Inferred). Jess addresses recent permitting news in Brazil and reassures that the licenses and permits remain in good standing, allowing the project to advance. We also discuss the Company's strategy for bringing the project into development and outline plans for feasibility studies and other work in 2025.
